POTW 26 August 2014

I have returned from yet another road/air trip, this time to beautiful sunny Melbourne. Seriously folks, it was clear and sunny for most of last weekend and around 19C. Miracles do happen. Of course, it is still bucketing down here in Coffs Harbour, giving me a great opportunity to once again peruse last week's photographical offerings and proclaim a winner of the coveted DSLRUSERSPOTW.

My first special mention go to Cameron for this image, taken with his new Sony A7, which is striking in it's composition and clarity:


I also want to compliment Tony on his processing of the fountain.


This week's choice however goes to Greg for his bird photo. It is a classic image, perfectly composed, with amazing colour and sharpness. This image would fit well in any new edition of the Reader's Digest bird watcher's book. Congrats Greg.
