Re: [SYD] Richmond forest paintinglol-age, i was trying to be low key... the plantation gig is gonna happen pretty soon since there is a small window of opportunity where teh sun aligns (well as close as it can) for this location (thats would be the pre-light painting entertainment) how about a balmain sunset (citscape) - weather is pretty hectic atm, but could produce something stunning... gerry's photography journey No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
 Re: [SYD] Richmond forest painting
Oops! No one knows which forest anyway. I am quite keen to have a specific shot in mind to execute....any ideas? Also is it just going to be lots of straight trees?
Re: [SYD] Richmond forest paintingThere was a fence being erected last time I was playing in the forest @ Richmond so you might find access not that easy. Guess it depends on the type and height of the fence....might just slow U down. Owner makes a quid out of hiring it out for weddings etc Last edited by Jenno on Tue Nov 27, 2012 4:52 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: [SYD] Richmond forest paintinghmmm, maybe a new forest is in order gerry's photography journey No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: [SYD] Richmond forest paintingThanks Ray for your input. Do you have a contact for the owner ? Also, do you have a few pics for us to have look at? Did you go with the Flickr group?
Re: [SYD] Richmond forest paintingWent there by myself on an overcast/drizzling morning. I dont have the phone number of the owner but I believe the going price is $100 (if that doesnt discourage you I can find out the phone number) . If you want a report on the proportions of the fence I will ask a local contact and get back to you.
Re: [SYD] Richmond forest paintingPerhaps, if an EL wire lit up in a forest and no one saw it, was there really any light there?
Re: [SYD] Richmond forest paintingThanks Ray for the images. I already know the size of the fence as I had a drive-by look. We will contact owner and sort things out.
 Re: [SYD] Richmond forest painting
WTF - surely we don't want to do anything unless we're doing it illegally D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks Rodney - My Photo Blog Want: Fast Wide (14|20|24)
Re: [SYD] Richmond forest painting Nah, this fella is keen to make a few quid so we might have to pay using beer economy. Rodney, if you sell any pictures, promise to give him 50%.
