TOO MANY X's DISCUSSI just wanted to see what people thought about the alarming trend of putting an X into the name of new cameras....we surely are in the year of the "X" Fuji has created an X-series of camera (so I dont mind their usage) -X100 -X10 -XS-1 -X Pro-1 Panasonic decided to bring back the GF-1 in the form of the GX-1 Canon joined the fray with the 1DX and the G1X (an attempt to cash in on the Fuji X-series and confuse you with the GX-1 and possibly the GXR?) Nikon, Sony and Samsung have existing 'X' usage as well. What do you all think? Coincidental? Deliberate? Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug

Re: TOO MANY X's DISCUSSX-factor, X-treme, X-citing, you can almost see how they think. Still not as bad as the automobile industry with their ridiculous car naming conventions. Regards

 Re: TOO MANY X's DISCUSS
I reckon the best bang for buck X from the whole flurry of Xs is the Canon G1X. It's got a huge sensor!! Hopefully the lens comes to the party.
 Re: TOO MANY X's DISCUSS
I reckon that is now dead. OS-X seems to live on...
