Re: Pocket WizardsIn theory the older type of unit should come down in price though? They got the new TTL models don't they?

 Re: Pocket Wizards
That's theory I've found that for when i need TTL (read, never) I use Nikon CLS, but when I want total control over my flashes, i use the PW in manual mode in any case. http://www.lumensphotography.com

I think the multi-max allows more channels. And it looks sexier. 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

Re: Pocket WizardsOk, another question, if I want to fire 3 flashes with one pocket wizard, is it possible? I'm not sure if it has enough voltage to trigger all 3...

You see, I bought 2 of the lastolite triflash mounts and just need to know how to trigger them wirelessly... Blog: http://grevgrev.blogspot.com

 Re: Pocket Wizards
if u want to fire three flashes, then u need four PWs. One PW for each flash, plus on on the camera to fire it. http://www.lumensphotography.com

 Re: Pocket Wizards
One Pocket Wizard will fire two flash's, a three millimeter double adapter jack plug will do the trick, a few bucks from Dick Smiths, I use two P/W to fire two SB800 and two SB900's with no problems.
 Re: Pocket Wizards
If the flash heads have inbuilt optical triggers, then all you need to do is trigger just the first flash which, in turn, will trigger the rest. g.

 Re: Pocket Wizards
What a great idea! Are you becoming another Mcnally with his Gazillion flashes? Would love see some work with the triflash mount...
 Re: Pocket Wizards
![]() Not tri mount, 2 flash,s one P/W, my setup can be seen in the forground, shot with 400 2.8 at about 400feet, P/W's are the only way to go.
Re: Pocket WizardsFlatpick, I have the lastolite triflash adapters, maybe I can further expand that to 3 flashes!!
