RE: rough estimate price for sb800

hi, need help here.
i've chanced upon a brand new sb800 and was wondering what is the retail price roughly a year ago? any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought my grey import SB-800 in March last year (while the dollar was getting strong) for $450, and remember selling them (AU stock) in the region of $700...but it was a long time ago and could not be certain about that 2nd price...how much have you seen this one for??

saw it for 649. shall go through fleabay for awhile before coming to a conclusion on whether to get that instead.

I'd say thats really steep, and 700 would be about sb900 pricings? ...sb800 used should be MUCH cheaper.

I see in the bargan section on this site sb800 $491....I'm not sure if this is the current price or from last year when the $ was strong...

dont think im getting the new 1 then. ebay selling prices have been around the $440 mark so thats a better deal!
