Right, so my turn to pick an image. This proves itself to be especially difficult seeing as I have well over a thousand posts to sort through. Luckily for me (and for my instance of Firefox), there's some pretty extraordinary content in the first page of image topics. Like this one from Frankenstein... I probably don't even have to say just how excellent this is. Colours, lines, composition... it's all there, and that's why it's my pick for the week!Original thread here.

Worth the plane ticket, but I'm not sure about the bloody camel ride!
It's a privilege to have a shot selected as POTW - there are just so many great images posted here week in, week out. Thanks to everyone who commented on this and my other Morocco shots...it's really appreciated.

 No No NO!
this is a desert. clouds would detract from that concept.

Great shot Frankenstein, as were the others you have posted. I am jealous of your plane trip & even your camel ride if it got you here.

I think all the photos in Frankenstien's thread are excellent, but that one is certainly the pick of the bunch.
 Well done.

It is a very nice photo. I like it, especially because I've just seen Lawrence of Arabia.
