 I have selected Wendell's series of images from Carnavale in Venice for this week's PotW. (See this post  and also this one. )
 The image I have chosen (see below) as representative of the series has the lot - eye-catching costuming, terrific composition, and superb lighting technique. I've always been a sucker for imagination and mystery in photography, and this series has both of those attributes in spades.

 I was expecting Wendell to nab another POTW with this series... 
 isn't it usualy to show the picture in the POTW thread ?
