This week's PotW is from stormygirl - Jane
Jane has taken some delightful portraits of a friend's kids, and this one
is my favourite of the three posted.
I love the combination of innocence and play, the very cute expression captured
at just the right moment, and with the slightest touch of softness to the shot in
keeping with the subject. Props with kiddie photos can go either way in terms
of adding to or taking from the shot, and I think that in this case, Jane has used the
bobby's helmet to great effect to give the final image something extra.
Great shot Jane (and I am sure your friend /client was exceedingly happy too).
Congratulations on Picture of the Week.

Fantastic capture Jane, very well deserved.
I am a huge fan of portraiture, and you've done a great job in capturing a very unique and special moment in time. I strive for getting childhood portraits in which parents, grand parents and family/friends go gooey over. You have (in my opinion) achieved this on this image that Greg has chosen so well. Excellent work and again, Greg - fantastic choice.
