My SB800 fires randomly on my D200One of my SB800 fires randomly on my D200+grip.
Anyone know why? When I change it to my 2nd one..all is ok. I have cleaned all contacts....and the batteries are fresh. I got blinded yesterday when it fires straight into my eyes. Vince

www.colberne.com.au I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"
Vince, I had an issue with my d200 where it was "randomly" turning off the image on the LCD when I was chimping. It turned out I was inadvertantly touching the extra shutter button with the palm of my hand on the mb200 grip just enough to do a half press. My solution was to turn off the shutter release on the mb200 until I needed it. I'm not saying it's the same issue, but it might be and it certainly had me tricked for a few minutes.
