I'm not sure what I like about bonou2's image.
When I saw this image, I thought it just worked. It's a beautiful little black & white image and my favourite out of the series he posted this week of which the rest can be found here.

An interesting choice. I like the emotion of this image and the B & W heightens that. Also liked the last in this series. Congrats Dan. Peter Disclaimer: I know nothing about anything. *** smugmug galleries: http://www.stubbsy.smugmug.com ***

Excellent shot Dan, and I like the rest of the series too.

Looking at this shot some more, I am reminded of one of those 1950s era French movies. It is a corker. Greg - - - - D200 etc Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see. - Arthur Schopenhauer
 Congrats bonou2 - thought promoting/evoking image. Well done! Geoff Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
CongratulationsCongratulations Bonou2, as I said before I like it because it has a certain air of sadness, dispair, or maybe helplesness and prayer. The black and white contributes to the blues feeling of the picture. I guess what I want to say it that it shows deep human emotions. Well done!
black & whiteI don't know how relevant this article in black and white photography is for most of you, but I found it quite interesting.
