What about a mini meet for this.

Dates are 11th to 13th August.

I will be there on the 13th.

Anyone interested.

I won't be able to go on Friday, and won't be able to get there until around 1 pm on Saturday, which isn't really worth the money I don't think. I'm still cool for Sunday though, might talk my Dad into coming too.

Here are the prices: strange that the 2-day and 3-day passes aren't any cheaper than individual day prices? Also pits access is free on Friday. :cool:

I might try and swing the Sunday. Depends on a few things, well two, my wife and son :)

Would be a great opportunity to test drive my new 120-300mm F/2.8

It arrives tomorrow :!: :!: :!: :!:

This weekend is out of the question for me, I'm afraid. It's all music for me for the next few days:

I have ...

a workshop/rehearsal session with a singer on Saturday afternoon.

Another quick runthrough with her and a guitarist on Sunday at 2, followed by ...

SBS per-jam session workshop at 3, followed by

SBS jam 4 - 9.

Monday, 10am I'm at radio 2RDJ meeting with a lady and sitting in with her on her 11-1 jazz slot, with a view to maybe having my own show on the steam wireless. Given that this is following an SBS jam, and, I think an F1GP race, Monday morning promises to be an interesting experience. :)

Monday 8pm, jam at Bar Me

Tuesday 11am till 1 - maybe ... 2RDJ ??

Tuesday 5pm - rehearsal at Bar Me for ...

Tuesday, 8pm - gig at Bar Me backing up the singer referred to above ...

And you're all welcome to come to the gig and support us at Bar Me. $7 show only, $25 (I think) dinner and show. Bar Me is the old El Rocco room at the Cross, probably Sydney's foremost jazz venue, speaking historically, of course.

You've got heaps of time. I can see at least 3 hours spare over the wekend where your probably only wasting them by sleeping.... :wink:
