I like this a lot, maybe slightly more crop on the left to reduce the black a little bit, but that's just me. Nice pic.

Wow, very cool shot, and I agree, slightly cropping this might help. I really like the colour and shine and are apparent in this shot.

Interesting capture, I couldn't have guessed you used the SB800 on this shot.

LOZ,

A fine emotive picture - congratulations it is wonderfull.

I cannot agree at all with the notion of cropping - infact, if anything, I would like it a tad looser in order to resolve more of the chin. That midnight blue faintly silhouetting the contour of the back of the head is a joy - not to be cut off but celebrated.

Cheers,

I agree with SS on this one. I feel the midnight blue background compliments the gorgeous gold of the beautiful statue really well. If anything, i'd like to see a bit more of the statues lower head and neck. I feel a bit restricted and my neck tightens up when i look at it now, it's as though i am being strangled. But if an image can trigger an emotional reponse in me, i will fall in love with it.

Brilliant image LOZ, well done.
Steve.

Thanks all this shot and come to think of it 100% of my pic are loaded strait to Picasa 2 sharpened cropped and posted to Flickr .
Time restraints and not having a F#%*! clue how to use PS2 (an expensive waste of money for myself) have made me very selective, if it looks crock in the beginning delete it .
I now wish that I had taken many shots of this statue but for some reason I felt that I was imposing
