Getting in a bit earlier this time, and reminded by Cameron, I will be hosting the annual coffee meet at my home, similar to last year.

Again, invitation open to about a dozen members of good fame and character (i.e. given it is my home, I will limit the invitation to those members who are active/long-standing on the forum).

This time, I am also looking to incorporate a medium-format, film portrait shoot incorporating shooting, developing, and (assuming we have our scanner by then), scanning. Alternatively, and again, pending acquisition of materials by then, I may also run a wet-darkroom session. This is less likely as I am not sure if the proposed darkroom will be light-tight for a daytime session. For the shoot, we will just be photographing ourselves, but we are all beautiful people.

I will look at February sometime, likely a Saturday morning, but may consider a Sunday if it suits more people.

And, for those ocularly challenged (Gerry & Suren!!! ), this will be a morning event.

I should be there, either sat or sun can work for me.

All that aside coffee is always welcome at any time of day...

I am lookingat one of the last two Sundays in March. How does that suit potential attendees?

If it is the 24th I will be able to make it (I get back from my trip on the 23rd and return to work on the 25th). At this point in time any other day will rule me out.

However, please choose a date that suits the most people, if I cannot make it then "c'est la vie"

For me, the 18th is out but the 24th would be fine.

Looks like the 24th may be suitable.

I am going to blame Cameron for this - the 24th of March is a Saturday, not a Sunday. Through simple extrapolation, this would me the Sunday a 25th. I can't do the 25th. I will therefore offer the following Sunday, being either the 32nd March or, better still, 1st April. Fool.

I am keen. Now I can mange to drink a few weak coffees; per week.

Quick google search reveals that both 32nd and 32th are in common usage......maybe its an english/american thing

Won't be able to makethe 32nd - I'll be in Orange for an engagement party

Would have enjoyed this but I have a wedding to shoot on that date. I'm disapointed.

For those also interested, I am going to do a north shore sunrise that morning (Sunday), maybe north curl curl or long reef- location to be determined by tides and weather.

Ok... playing lotsa catchup just about everywhere and not been back here till now... 32/3 is looking ok for me and as yet don't have a shoot on the books so coffee is looking good... happy to bring whatever we might like to add to the day...

Thanks Patrick and co for having us. A fabulous time was had by all discussing the meaning of life in photography.... Oh yeah, that cold press is still giving me a buzz!

Was a great morning, from a sunrise at the sea cliff bridge (which was a pretty hectic bush bashing session) to a serious caffeine session.
