Hey guys - just bought a Nikon 35-70 f2.8 off ebay the other day - $225 delivered.

Pretty happy with it - seems to be in good condition.

Im going to use it for some gigs on the weekend - so will try to post photos soon.

Sounds like a good deal, and it should suit your needs at gigs fairly well too.
