On behalf of the DSLRUsers.com Team I would like the thank Cameron (aim54x) for his contribution this week. It is never an easy task choosing the POTW so I usually open up all the images pasted during the week and close off the ones as I knock them out. There is a certain dynamic about this street capture that intrigued me. The contrast between the static and the motion behind that kept me flicking back to this image when I was trying to pick this weeks POTW. Add good exposure and colours in difficult light makes to the composition and subject make this image a winner…congratulation Craig (CraigVTR) Original thread:viewtopic.php?f=18&t=41457Last edited by fozzie on Fri Sep 30, 2011 8:06 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Yes, it's a really interesting image. The blurred figures passing the display and the well-known landmark in the background. You get drawn right in to the picture.
Nice work from Craig and an excellent selection, Cameron.

Thanks Cameron and everyone for their kind comments.
I was after an image that would show the bustling activity of what is such a well known landmark. Iam really pleased that I was able to capture the atmosphere of the place.

There were cameras and tripods everwhere, I even had a couple of young blokes with their Dxxx start up a conversation with "wow, nice camera".

Congrats. This is a noisy (as in cluttered) image, and together with the Union Jack and the well known landmark makes for an interesting picture.
