Apologies to all, especially the POTW owner I picked... this week has been a tad busy. That annoying bit out of the way, I don't get to come here as often as I like, but when I do it's always good to see just how amazing ya'll are doing. There are some absolutely fantastic images, and kudos this week to both Remorhaz and Geoff for image selections that made it even harder to pick a POTW for. A late one, even. But since it's my turn this week, I'm giving it to agriffiths for "Desert Rose" Well done, mate. A fantastic images with excellent colours. As Stubbsy says, "sublime image".Original post here.

This could well be the POTY...(picture of the year). A very unique and beautiful image...a competition winner....a valuable commercial quality photograph. Well seen and beautifully captured. Regards

Thankyou so much for the kind feedback everyone, and thanks for the pick Leigh. It's a great honour!
I plan to return to the area in a few months after a rain period to record the changes in landscape. I have a feeling we could be in for a treat.
