I have decided to get 2011 off with a ‘BANG’ What coud be better than NYE fireworks on Sydney Harbour. The moment I saw surenj (Suren) shot it just said ‘POTW’. With the mutli coloured firework being the main focus, the shot is further enhanced with part of the CBD in the background, which makes the capture a pleasant change from the normal Sydney Harbour Bridge. Composition and exposure is sound, and capped off with just the right amount of saturation. Well done Suren. Link to thread:viewtopic.php?f=18&t=40418fozzie
When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.

Yep that's a CRACKER shot (thought I'd get in first with that one ) Frivolity aside - I agree this image is decidedly POTW material.

Absolutely brilliant, and the square crop really works to set off the very precise round fireworks.Great job.
