The last group of pics from my long weekend. The first two were taken at Rosemount Estate winery near Denman with the 24-120 VR. The last two were taken at Fisherman's Point with the 70-200 VR + TC 1.7. To see a larger version, click the pic.

Great work Peter.
#1 Love the train tracks, the curve and then vanishing into the distance.
#2 The rose, simple and sweet
#3 Love the colours in this the peach in the sky, the aqua in the wave.
#4 Like this one too, but the water doesn't seem quiet right, (has it been sharpened ?)

Love the first one with the endless railway tracks. The way it curves and flows into the background makes it an excellent composition.

Thanks for the comments guys. #1 is definitely my fave of these.
Craig - the waves were like that - it's a function of low light, choppy seas and slightly longer exposure I think.

Really like the lines of the railway leading to the distance, and probably about as straight as you'd be walking after the winery

Peter - you don't seriously expect me to pick a favourite out of this lot?
All magnificent. You manage to achieve fantastic results in a lot of different genres. Well done sir!

Nice shots there Stubbsy,
I would prefer the ocean scapes to be Darker, to give them a lot more mood.
But thats just me because Satan has visited me
Mic.

THanks for the comments guys.
Andrew - After the winery I could walk just as straight as when I entered since I'm a good boy and spit rather than swallow.
Bernie - strangely I had similar thoughts about his pic - it could be a whale (in fact it's a rock outcrop under the wave)
Simon - glad you liked.
mic - dark is a dilemma I had with these. The first of the two sunset shots I wanted darker, but then I lost the detail in the mountains. In retrospect I should add a graduated filter in PP to darken the water.

your first fishermans point image with the wave is a standout image
the colours and contrast are quite variable, being shot at sunset I don't se emuch waves being aqua in color with a pink frill at that time of day, it must of been wonderful just standing there witnessing such beauty.
