and 13 others.......

yesterday i was on a workshop with this guy http://www.joecornish.com/

we'd all paid our money and were looking forward to the day!

Nice surprise when we got there, he'd decided to bring his mate along to help out http://www.davidwardphoto.co.uk/

That was the lucky bit :D :D

Long story short we had a great day, learnt loads though the weather was not too favourable for landscape work

Anyways a couple of shots below that i took in between lessons....

This one was shot into the sun, D70 with kit zoom at 70mm, f8, almost into the sun so i knew i'd be making a sihouette, cropped to square and curves adjusted in PS2

Image

This one is a crop at around 80% size, hand held with kit lens at 70mm, f5, 1/250th second, not perfect but, for handheld i'm quite happy, though i perhaps should have bumped the saturation up a bit......

Winter coats.

I like the first picture, simple but nice.

What was the workshop about / on? Landscape photography?

Hi Jamie - yep - winter coats on the bees :D :D - and fair play to them - it did get bloody cold later on whilst we were atop Sutton Bank - about 200ft above the plains of North Yorkshire - the day had promised us a great sunset but, sadly, twas not to be....... :(
yep - the workshop was about Landscape Photography - dunno if you looked at the links but Joe and David are both top of the field - mostly using 5x4 field cameras to do work for the likes of the National Trust.

Both images i have posted were taken at a location that just not do it for me so i turned my attentions elsewhere.......
