I took my nephew and niece to the Melbourne Show yesterday. A good day out with a couple of pics to show you.

A pic of a huge generation gap but they were the most hardcore in the dodgems. The kid must have had his foot to the floor but gramps was having a ball.



And the real reason my nephew and niece got to go to the show.

Don't suppose you have a picture of the rocket man do you? I saw his crash on the news the other night. Ouch!!

Nope he didn't fly yesterday at 1pm cause his $900K rocket was stuffed. They were still trying to fix it.

I could build him one for less than that with some soda bombs and some superglue!

That's crazy! Here I am busting my guts saving for a couple of grand worth of camera gear and people spend $900k to make a man fly a couple of metres in the air.... Sheesh!!!

I wont show you the first image i took of the human cannon ball.

The host was saying to the crowd, dont focus on the cannon cause you'll miss her exit. She goes too fast. I thought bullshit buddy....I'll get it...

The bloody thing went off with an almighty BANG, I shit myself, jumped a mile, the camera hit me in the head and I must have pushed the shutter button. Got a nice puff of smoke before she exited the cannon.

Very nice embi, i love the colours.

Do you mind if others post up some show pictures also in your thread?

A couple i took and my first go at cloning stuff out so dont laugh too hard ppl.





I did get a picture of the woman being shot out of the cannon but i havent PP'ed it yet, and no i didnt wack myself in the head with the camera unlike some.
