Now that the comp is over

A couple of 10 second exposures. Thought I'd try something different.
Set up the plants indoors to eliminate any possibility of movement.
Stopped the aperture right down to improve DOF and eliminate ambient light and then manually set off the flash (big old Hanimex) from different angles and fairly close to the subject.
The best I could manage in 10 Seconds was 3 flashes. Tried different angles but 1 from each side slightly in front of the subject and then 1 from behind seemed to work best.
The first was just the untouched flower, then I sprayed some water on it for the second shot and the third has a bit of Photoshop trickery just for fun.
