DRIFT PICS FROM WINTON 24/9

Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Thai, usual standards mate, yes know the feeling walking around track all day and another bike do in your state tomorrow, yes i am border hoping for a grasstrack MotoX.

Nice work!

How are you getting the same angle on each picture the same, obviously your not using a tripod?

I have to say that the guy on the bike is a bit of an idiot though (no leathers) and if its who i think it is he is a bit of an idiot, IMO anyway. :lol:

Great shots, Thai! Damn, I'm missing out on all these events. BBJ's off somewhere in Vic for MotoX. I need to read up abit more on where all these events are happening. :cry:
Yes, It can get a bit draining taking photo's and walking around all day when I found out the last time I was there for the bikes. It was bloody cold! :lol:
I agree with Jamie about the stunt guy. Maybe he's overconfident or just a legend. (in his own mind.) :lol:

thanks for your comments guys,
just a bit of a warning; the drifting in Winton was probaby the most hardest area to photograph. ended up using a 300 ais prime with 1.4x stacked just to get close enough to the sweet spots. there was only 2. although manual foucs did make it harder, probaby a tad on the soft side.

Jamie, i didn't use a tripod just a monopod, why am
I getting the same result?angle view? they all(90%) were drifting into the corner the same way, which was the only way to do it correctly.
don't worry Jase, i probaby make you drive next time.
there is another drift event on the 29 oct i most likey not be going due to derby day
