Playing with Mosiac software

Found this software on my computer and thought I should have a play with it.
How does this look as a first go? Can't say I am a really big fan of this sort of thing, but it makes for a bit of time wasting fun.
I didn't give it much to work with, just other photos of Max. Perhaps a greater range of colours would have given a better example.
Original for comparison

It's interesting, to say something. I reckon it would look best blown up to a huge size and hung on a wall. The PC monitor just doesn't do it justice,
That said, i think the original as a sensational image. I'm not normally a fan of cat photos, but that one is really something special. The close crop and the green eyes makes a fascinating image. I think it's terrific.

Thanks Steve. You are correct re it not showing its best on the monitor.
As for the image of Max, it is a fav of mine. He's not as quick to move now as he used to be, so images like this, especially while the sun is out, are easy to capture. I just converted to black and white, and then brushed the colours back in, but he is a silver and black cat anyway, so there wasn't much colour loss.
Thanks for commenting.
