Lovely pics Scott - beautiful colours on the Indigo, especially the.....indigo!

I'm looking forward to the time when the Poor Man's VR finds a home in my kitbag. Hopefully soon.

Thanks for posting. The Sigma seems to be living up to people's expectations.

Hi Scott

I am about to get one of these lenses. Your shots are helping me make my mind up. Which converter do you think you would use with this one should you wish to use one at all?

Thanks for posting these Scott. I think there might be a few people looking at these images and thinking hard about jumping off the VR bandwagon.

Birdy, I hope you are getting ready for the orders that will soon flood in
I'd like to say I will be one of them, but realistically, it's quite a ways off yet
Perhaps if I only limit myself to 200mm on my 70-300 APO II I can pretend I have the 70-200 2.8 ?!?

Aussie Dave,
Just let the 70-200VR RIP atm, no news of them in the near future.
The only way to have fun is grab this Sigma and having fun with it instead of, once the 70-200VR back to the market, if you're not happy with the Sigma and have spare cash then off to the Nikkor. It won't hurt!
