). It took me forever to work out what I was looking at and I think that's a big part of my problem with the image, plus the panels across the bottom of the glass really dominate what I'm guessing is meant to be the focus of the image - the dark area of glass & water with the person in it.

Perhaps you should give it more space on the sides to give people a clue as to what they're looking at, or do some matte drawing or cgi around the sides to make it look sci-fi-esque, otherwise, it's just too confusing for someone to look at.

You have a vision and the courage to display it. The image has some very strong features and a sense of confusion..."what am I looking at"? I would rather see this type of work, and watch it evolve then have to puke over another flower! There! I have said it. Thanks for posting....and ...er....I've just taken some fab flower shots but I don't think I can now post them. Where's that delete button.

I am about to soon post a couple of flower shots but I think they have passed to puke test!
By the way...amazing how similar my shots are to the ones posted by yourself and Nick. Goes to prove what I have always known...that position is everything and the major component of composition. Put 20 photographers into the same space and they will all capture very similar images. I have to learn to breakaway.
