Not sure on this one Trevor. I like it's simplicity but something is telling me that there is too much to this shot. I think it is the bottom LHS corner being a bit brighter than the rest of the image.

It is a nice looking time piece though!

I like it.

I had a water proof watch once. I never saw a drop of water come out of it!
Did you stop the watch for the shot? The second hand seems sharp ergo small f/stop = slow shutter normally blurrs the second hand.

I guess the flash was able to stop time.

I thought of another reason - one that Professor Julius Sumner Miller (were he still alive!) would be proud of.

This particular second hand is very small, so the end point is not moving as quickly as it would if the second hand reached right out to the edge of the dial as you sometimes see.

I like the shot and the watch When shooting watches you've got to be careful with the position of the hands, though. I bet this one would look much nicer at 23 past 7 or so, when the hour hand doesn't obscure the seconds dial.
