exposure on this shot

Very tricky late afternoon light here. I like the look of this shot but does the blown sky ruin this image? Not sure if I should make it completely white.

Not sure that my comments will be helpful :D but how about cropping the top one eighth of the image. To my way of thinking the hazy mountain and sky don't really add anything to the tranquil stream subject matter.

Steve, one easy way to save this is to combine bracketed exposures in a HDR image. If you shot it in NEF you might be able to do it. There's a few good links to HDR images within the forum.

at the moment the clouds look posturized, hope i spelt that right

so i think you have to tuen the entire sky white or gradient fill it with a fine blue to white vignette

nice landscape where were you?
