Revisited with a darker room.

My D70's shutter appears to be sticking now :( Started happening tonight. Every second frame then got worse. Seems to happen in bursts now.
Last night, now I think of it, the camera wasn't firing every now and then. But that was complete not firing (as if I hadn't pressed the shutter button).

Much better contrast than the first series.

Would like to see #3 from a much lower angle.

Do you use a sound trigger, do you guestimate or other to get the shot?

I have similar issues with my D70s when the battery starts going flat.. i am assuming that my battery is on its way out and once i charge it is seems fine... might be the same issue for you...?

I guestimate, but the drips are reasonably regular from the cup so it's not too hard.

Will sort a lower angle series soon.

Will try a different battery.

Nick - whilst i'm not 100% sure, I would imagine that these images would sell well with a stock photography company, especially in the age of the drought we are living in. Sell em to Getty for a few hundred each :) :)

Much better this time, how about a little more crop down into the drops so they can stand out more from the frame?
