Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Having the comet in the sky certainly adds interest to the night sky :)

It would even be great without the comet.

No noise - thank Canon :) As for the curved horizon, yes, using a 17mm lens. Cant add any more reflection from that view point as the cliff gets in the way :)

Hi Tony, good shots still mate and this one is cool. I was gonna have a look down here but been a bit of cloud around and yeh didn't bother. Would have had a look tonite but while at work today paper rang and i have to go and take pictures of sprintcars at the speedway so there goes my quiet nite.

How long does thing hang around for as i would have thought it would have been all over by now?

Rob, you know how I try to pease... John it will be getting harder to see each night becuase the moon is getting near full and the comet is moving away from the sun and the earth.. You can also see it in th emorning in the east, 4.30 tomorrow for example, sun does not rise till 6.30

Very nice comet capture. I like the strong diagonal of the jetty with lights, looks like runway lights=) with the comet.
