I have finally got around to scanning my slide collection, something I've had planned for some time.

This one was taken circa 1975 on a Rollei twin lens reflex, 120 roll slide film, masked in camera from 6 x 6 to 4 x 4 cm. Exposure unrecorded.

Scan doesn't look as sharp as the original slide, possibly because it is a glass mount.

Any comments appreciated.

Geoff - when I first looked at the image I thought "wow...doesn't look like a digital image". Then I read your little explanation and with that in mind it is a very eery and unique kind of perspective of our landmark. You're right doesn't look that sharp, but in this instance I don't think that it really detracts from it. Somehow (I don't know how) this looks to me like it was shot on a cold winter's night, care to confirm/deny this theory I have? :)

Memory is a bit hazy after so many years but I think you are right, seem to remember it was a cold frosty night.

Thanks for the comments.

No worries mate - I'm noticing that there are now quite a few Jeff's or Geoff's on this forum, how good is that? :D
