Hello all

I happened to in Mooloolaba yesterday visiting my folks. The swim leg of the triathlon went past the back door of the unit and so I raced out and grabbed a few images.

I was keen to try and get a pano of the swimmers in the water, but my efforts were pretty ordinary - too much movement it would seem.

Here is a 21 image pano of the swim course. You can see the swimmers off in the distance (if you had a magnifing glass....)

I got the nodal point settings wrong on this. I had the camera set to 35mm and pano head set for 18mm so the pano is technically and artistically pretty ordinary...

G'day,

Hard to judge at the size on your web-site, but I thought it looks like a good merging job, especially with moving objects, and strewth 21 images! good effort...

I thought the framing was OK too, nice foreground rock on the right corner...

The awkward part of posting panos is the scrolling seems to lose the "effect" of a pano, so I tend to post the thumb with a link to a larger one, but probably wouldn't go over about 1024 or so for web viewing, depends on whether scrolling bugs you or not...

If you're not sure on posting a small image which links to a larger one, check out John's tip here... : http://www.dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php?t=10816
