The 1st one does it for me, the 2nd looks like it has been over cropped or missing the bottom.

#1, try cropping the top just below where the cloud cover breaks above the sunset and the blue'ish sky areas start to show through, image seems very well exposed to me, cropping the top would make it more of a pano too... Depends if you like that... Try having something in the foreground for the waves to break around, it breaks the line across the image...
#2, fantastic sky! A smidge more room for the foreground too, I keep raising my head trying to see over the edge though
