I don't know why you always have this thing about putting text on your photos.. it really kills a mood you try to evoke and just makes it commercial.

Regardless, the first two are nice.

The third is kind of a waste.

Hi Juztin. I like these. I agree with Leigh about text. No. 1 is my favourite.

I particularly like the third pic.

To me, it shows the person in focus as either frustrated with whatever he's working on or wishing that he could be outside in the great outdoors while everyone else seems to be hard at work.

I like how he's the focus of the shot.

Juztin,

Nice series of shots, especially the third one. I also agree that it really shows a story, with the only guy in focus the one who seems frustrated and concentrating hard. Very clever and nicely thought out.

I don't mind the text - its refreshing to be a bit different from the average shot.

Cheers

Michael

The text doesn't do much for me, but I really like all three shots. I love the colour and texture of the first one, and the shallow depth of field in the second. Very nice.

Juztin a beautifully captured series. You have a definite and unique style that really accentuates mood. I really like #2 and #3 to a lesser extent. I agree to some extent with Leigh regarding the text. Whilst I think the text may contribute a little to the style you have developed it needs to be selectively applied as it can detract from the beauty of the images. In truth the images can and need to stand on their own.
cheers

Juztin

The images are good, but I also think they have lost their power because of the text and the border which places the whole image off centre.

Juztin I do not agree with the others about the border or text, I get what you are trying to convey. If these were a poster on a billboard, no one would say a word, so present them in any manner that you see fit. They are your images after all and you are the only one that needs to be pleased with them...
