The first shot of the house is a corker. Did you use a filter on that or was the colour done in PP afterwards?

The sheep shed and eating the plum...They are "fine art" and if you can print them properly then they are "fine art prints", and as good as any. There's a market for work of that quality.

The sheep shed is a standout, although perhaps a touch too orange.

Great, love the shed but yes, agree that orange/red saturation is a tad much, great work

I am intrigued by this treatment and I like the result.

The other images aren't half bad either

The panos were PP as the lighting conditions were very bland, so thought I would go for the slighty more arty look..
Here is another version of the shed that I took..
This one proves you can salvage a mistake..
and look how my guide (marvin) tries to lead me astray..

Big V - the two panos of the shed are brilliant - I agree, there is a definite market out there for these types of shots - go for it !!!!!
Congrats by the way

Really like the two of the farm house, they have a great look, and given the dry surroundings I think the saturation adds to the 'feel' of the image.
They have a nice 'steve parish' look about them, and as far as I'm concerned, he's bloody good!
Nice!

Great images Big V I really think the first in both sets are standouts and if I were to be even more discerning I prefer the second shot of the old farmhouse cum sheep shed

. I like the contrast better, composition and the more subdued complementary colours but they are both standuits.
cheers

BLOODY TOURISTS, walking all over the roads, when there is perfectly good underpass.....

Actually your not allowed to cross there as its the feeding place of the 'Blue Lake Bunyip'... many a tourist has been lost
Some lovely shots Big V. I like what you have done with the shed and coorong, and next time you'll have to get the BBJ/Jonesy Mt. Gambier tour!

LOL. ACTUALLY, it was Virgs who was going to go that way and I was saying there's an underpass. Bloody sneaky bastard! I DID have a close encounter with the Bunyip but quick thinking and reflexes got me out of it!
Yeah, it's been too overcast for astronomy pictures. Bloody south east! I remember how I used to think it was hot at 25 when I lived here!

Having actually eaten possum (At the Grange Restaurant in the Adelaide Hilton prepared by one of Australia's best chefs - Cheong Lieuw) I'd say it's a bloody fine feed.

Well the hospitality has been great but the weather has been terrible..here are a couple from yesterday..
Remember, when the light is not right go to black and white or something like that..
