Well I have had some time to process the results from last night and add some data from my partner in crime, so here is the combined result, which shows the central stars of the nebula..

OK, for the people who came in late, how on earth did you do that? :shock: Hook up the camera to a 12" reflector telescope? I so want to do this...

Well, not bad at all coming from someone who would not know 1 star from another and these are impresive. Well all these nite shots into the stary nites must be different and guess a clear nite would help but still great.

Ah, never mind - found the other post. :oops:

Ever been out to the observatory at Dubbo near the zoo? They have a couple of 12" reflectors with computerised tracking. It's a very informal setup, so I'm sure you could talk them into letting you hook up a camera if you picked the right time when there's no tour group there.
