Hey all, been sorting through my older stuff and thought I'd post a few from my time spent in East Timor.

These were taken with the trusty old Nikon FM2 and scanned. No PP.

Who cares if they aren't from a DSLR? A good image is a good image and will be appreciated by all and sundry around here and there are some good images there. Thanks for posting

I agree, they are great images. The last one of the kid is excellent.

Love the grain in the helicopter shot. What ISO did you shoot that with?

Gotta love black and white! I agree with Killa....the portrait of the young boy is a fine image....though normally I'd prefer the photographer to assume a lower posture with children...eye level....this image works wonderfully from your chosen POV.

Love the child portrait! And the other shots, they have a strong emotion to them, or they stirr a strong emotion in me... a really nice series. 2nd last shot is my favourite.

I believe it was ISO 200, the grain is from the dust being thrown up by the helicopter.
