These are typical of your shots Rel - excellent! That March Fly looks nothing like the one that bit me twice. It isn't splattered all over my leg...

Strewth these have terrific detail and sharp as! Seeing the detail of the body shapes and those eyes(!) is amazing in such close-up...

Thanks Andrew, Mark & Bob :) I was pleased with these two shots - march flies have the most amazing eyes, even if they are my most hated fly !!!! And the eyes on stick insects are just gorgeous - she was a stunner ... hopefully she laid an egg casing somewhere in our backyard, and we'll have lots of baby stick insects coming around soon ;)
