First macro with Sigma 150 2.8

Thanks to Birddog I got my Sigma 150 2.8 macro today (and my SB800). This is my first macro image with the Sigma. Looks like it's severely lacking in the light department (I haven't even unpacked the SB800 yet, let alone opened the manual). I've got a lot to learn. :)

Picked up my 150 also a couple of weeks ago and
really enjoying the wonderful world of TRUE macro :wink:

Congrats on the acquisition gentleman. How do you find the lens, sharpness bokeh etc marc? I'm tossing up between it and the 105 micro nikkor. All reports say its great. Any other pics you guys have taken with it?

Nicely done John.

The more I use mine the better I like it. I believe it stacks up quite nicely against any other macro currently in production.

Great shot marc. Nice and sharp. Looks like the race is on. I really like the extra reach and the HSM for the telephoto shots. What's it like generally, feel build quality responsiveness etc?
