Cradle Mountain Photographic RetreatFor those that may be interested,
http://www-secure.cce.usyd.edu.au/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CCE.woa/wa/Courses/course?ID=0561108 Runs late October. I believe they need numbers in the next day or so to determine if it goes ahead or not. Geoff.
I believe this is the same Grenville Turner that held the PhotoShop info day for Epson about 6 months ago.
He was a very interesting character with lots of knowledge, this should be a cracking opertunity for those in Tassie. Wish I could go.. Nikon F80D, FM2n RRS BH-55, 055XPROB Smugmug
Of course pricing on this would also be a factor. Something which is conspicuously absent on the linked page. I'm guessing a 5 day retreat won't be cheap. Maybe if you have to ask the price it's too expensive Peter Disclaimer: I know nothing about anything. *** smugmug galleries: http://www.stubbsy.smugmug.com ***
I should have included some $$$ details.....
Cost of tour (land only) $2178 (twin share) Group airfair to Launceston $420. Single supplement $555. Arrive Fri 21st Oct. Depart Launceston Tue 25th. Unfortunately not really 5 full days there. Geoff

Thanks for the update. As I feared - tempting, but too much for my budget, having spent that much just now buying myself a tripod & head Peter Disclaimer: I know nothing about anything. *** smugmug galleries: http://www.stubbsy.smugmug.com ***
 G'day Geoff,
Thanks for the link... I remember seeing this a little while ago... I'd love to go on that I think it would be such a learning experience with the guidance of Grenville Turner but too exy for me I'm afraid... Got most of October off on leave too, wonder if I just happen to be there and say waddya know, camera dudes, can I play??? Would love to go bush-walking around that area for a few days, never been to Tassie Aka Andrew
