I am quite surprised that no one has mentioned this as yet, especially since it has already started.

The festival of light started on the 25th May and will go on until the 11th of June. As per usual I will probably end up being out there a few times, but it is always a good excuse to try to catch up with all of you!

So to kick things off, does anyone have any preference to a particular night when we can meet for a poke around the light sculptures?

I was planning to go with the Whirlpool folks this Saturday evening (meeting at 4:45 in front of the MCA on the 2nd)

I am tired of vivid sydney images already to be honest..same sh$t different year.

I may go but it will be a week night I think - the crowds are just depressing

Did you have any ideas on a day Cameron?

I think I will be out and about around Vivid either Friday or Saturday night...not sure at this point in time.

I will be headed out with some other friends next Wednesday but I fear that will be a lot of walking and not much shooting.

went there monday night but compare to last year, it was a bit disappointed.
