Good Luck everyone! Judging but the quality of part 1, there should be some absolute rippa submissions for part 2.

				Indeed!
A few point:
*When you send me your registration be patient... it may take some time... (no net at home yet... have to do it at work when the boss is not looking)
*Register sooner rather than later... Registrations in the days leading up to the close may not be accepted..
*Keep in mind that this is a free entry competition with remarkable prizes! Stay happy and use the theme, competition and general camaraderie on this forum to improve your photography...
At the end of this part the entries from both parts will be combined into a voting gallery where you will pick the best ones!

They're probably okay provided no one knows who you are.
Including yourself.

We have 7 entries so far so its time to get a move on...
Comp closes SUNDAY so NOW is the time to enter..
Furthermore I can not gaurentee that I will get to any new registration made after COB tomorrow...
Remember, if you think you may have difficulty entering (due to technical issues) enter SOONER rather than LATER!

I've been contemplating this idea, and wonder how a portrait of a dslruser breaks the anonymity rule unless the image suggests that it is a _self_ portrait and not one taken by another member?
Maybe I'm being picky, but I'm my most cooperative subject.

Rog, for some people that would break the anonymity rule, because of well known clusters of people (Eg a shot of Chryssine in a domestic setting not at a minimeet, would most likely be taken by Joe T). The reason for the anonymity rule is so that all entries are marked equally on their merits, without influence of friendships, etc or that Sydney members being better known are unfairly advantaged. It is not really designed as a chance for some members to play Inspector Clouseau though.

something.

CAn anyone help with posting onthe gallery 2 Challenge 7 photo comp
I've got to 'add photos' and a screen comes up asking select meta data you want to upload. How is this done to enter the comp? I just don't want to do anything wrong. I thought the metadata was automatically sent along with the image entered. Help please?

cheers

Marco : the process I used, was to click add photo, then change the upload 5 photo's to 1 photo, let it update, and then browse to the wanted file, select it then add a Caption if you wish, then click the 'Go' button at the bottom.
Once it's finished uploading, remember to select Hide Photo, from the list of options.

I'm not sure what you mean, are you refering to the Exif data ? As long as it's on the file before you upload it, it should be viewable once you have uploaded the file, otherwise... I'm still a tad confused.

Thanks Craig . It says optional for meta data files. I have just saved the image as jpeg and I suspect the exif data that is needed is already embedded in the jpeg image.
Thanks for your help Craig. I'll go ahead and post.
cheers

Reminds me of submitting CompSci assigments electronically, always with 1 minute to spare

It was too close. I post-processed for just under a minute, when I needed about three minutes. With more time I could have made my entry look a little better, but not much better. At least I put
something in, even though I know it is not competitive. Before I wondered what the point would be of putting something in that was not competitive, but in the end I'm glad I did.
